Millipede mates with microscopy
Abstract:
A team of researchers from four UK universities has been awarded a £3m grant to develop a tool that could enable the construction of molecular structures with a resolution of 13nm.
The ‘Snomipede’ combines Millipede technology, originally developed by IBM, with the technique of scanning near-field optical microscopy (SNOM).
