Frost & Sullivan report: automotive nanotechnology applications
Abstract:
For instance, the efficiency of a single layer of nanomaterial-based coating is comparable to that of three layers of conventional coatings. Nanomaterials are also projected to lower the quantity of highly expensive rare metals used in catalytic converters and fuel cells, yielding a saving of at least $1 billion per year by 2010.
