Demystifying nanotech in Canada

Abstract:
From horror stories about self replicating "gray goo" to predictions of tiny robots that will fix our clogged arteries, nanoscience and nanotechnology have been attracting much attention in scientific literature and in the media.

As in the early days of biotechnology, we are being inundated with information touting the benefits and potential hazards of nanotechnology from a variety of sources. The "nanohype" seems to emanate from both sides of the discussion.
