Researchers watch water inside nanotubes
Abstract:
Researchers from Drexel University, US, the University of Illinois at Chicago, US, and the Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan have filled closed multiwalled carbon nanotubes between just 2 and 5 nm in diameter with water. The team says its work is of fundamental importance for understanding liquid behaviour at the nanoscale.
