Korean to Chair ISO Technical Committee

Abstract:
South Korea will take charge of the international technical subcommittee responsible for the standardization of scanning probe microscope technologies, said the Agency for Technology and Standards (ATS) on Sunday. "The appointment will empower South Korea, which has the world’s third highest scanning probe microscope-related technological power after the United States and Japan, to develop and produce cutting-edge nano technologies and related products," said an ATS official.
