International workshop kicks off at GCU

Abstract:
A three-day international workshop on "Crystallography and Nanomaterials" kicked off at the Government College University Lahore under the auspices of International Union of Crystallography, GCU Chemistry Department and Ravian Forensic Society.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman inaugurated the workshop which was aimed at promoting the international publications of crystallographic research, standardisation of methods, units, nomenclature and symbols and forming focus for the relations of crystallography and nonmaterials to other sciences.

GCU Dean Faculty of Science and Technology Prof Dr Ikramul Haq, Chemistry Department Chairperson Prof Dr Islam Ullah Khan and Nancy University France research-scholar Maqsood Ahmed also attended the opening session.
