The conference will showcase products and services in the areas of Defense and Homeland Security, and will feature technologies such as RFID, advanced materials, and communications.

AlwaysReady, Inc., as a micro and nanotech development company focused on advanced power and sensing solutions, will discuss its flagship product, the Smart Nanobattery featuring Power On Command™. The Smart Nanobattery offers a revolutionary approach to energy storage and power management in commercial, consumer and military applications, and recently has undergone high G-Force testing in a military armament test firing, with successful results.

AlwaysReady CEO Fred Allen stated, "We are pleased to be participating in this event because defense and security are significant markets that will help us to gain more traction as we move towards commercialization. We hope to capture a significant share of the reserve and advanced battery markets, and believe that our product advantages are particularly valuable in this arena."

Potential applications for the nanobattery could be as a reserve energy source for munitions or remote sensors. Others could be the emergency power for alerts/alarms or portable light sources like flashlights.
