Iran opens tapestry exhibition

Abstract:
Iran has opened an exhibition of Iranian tapestries to put more than 100 artworks by 36 prominent artists, mostly women, on display.

Considered a decorative art, tapestry is an artistic combination of texture, graphics, handicrafts, painting, and mirror work. Thanks to nanotechnology, modern tapestries are created with a wide range of materials, decorating public places like airports, and hotels.
