€3bn for EU nanoelectronics research programme

Abstract:
The European Commission is to launch a €3bn Europe-wide public-private research partnership in nanoelectronics.

The EU aims to create a strong nanoelectronics research and manufacturing sector in Europe, resulting in the creation of innovative products with in-built intelligence in areas as diverse as healthcare, consumer electronics, environmental management and automotives.
