State approves tax incentives for 4 companies

Abstract:
* Zyvex Performance Materials Inc., a suburban Dallas-based producer of materials using nanotechnology, is slated to receive a 5-year, 60 percent tax credit worth about $856,745.

Zyvex has identified an unspecified Columbus site for a research and development facility and headquarters employing 97, according to the state. It plans to invest at least $3 million in fixed assets, including $2.3 million in machinery and equipment.
