Committee to move forward with Heart of Triad plan

Abstract:
The region would stretch about 6,300 acres and could include mixed development of industries such as biotech and nanotechnology research and development, shopping centers and small businesses, single-family housing and some preserved open space. Development, planning and infrastructure for the region would be shared by the two counties and four cities sitting along the edge of the future region.
