Korea may lead nanotech revolution

Abstract:
The Korean government had pledged to invest $1.24 billion in research & development of nanotechnology to become one of the world's top five leaders by 2010. In addition to a new material for water purification, currently being used by local companies, Korean scientists are working on materials to be put into batteries and super-strong carbon nanotubes that make new display systems.
