U.K. Research Councils Call for Mini-Fab

Abstract:
The Research Councils U.K. have proposed a nanoelectronics mini-fab, costing $88.1 million (50 million British pounds) with a budget of $8.81 million (5 million pounds) a year. The Councils said silicon enabled nanoelectronics is a strategic priority if the U.K. is to become a world leading knowledge-based society.
