U.S. agency, UI approve research agreements
Abstract:
The second agreement, between the College of Business at the University of Illinois at Springfield and the Commerce Department's Office of Technology Policy, provides the two will work on business, legal, international, education and work force issues affecting the field of nanotechnology. The federal government has invested $3 billion in nanoscale research and development since 2000 through its National Nanotechnology Initiative. The UIS business college will help with issues arising as products and services are developed using the new technology.
