Russia Urges S. Korea To Seal Intellectual Property Protection Deal

Abstract:
Russia handed over a new version of an agreement on protection of intellectual property rights at the ninth meeting of the Russian-South Korean committee for scientific and technical cooperation that ended in Seoul on Tuesday.

He pointed out that a two-day Russian-South Korean seminar on nonotechnologies opens in Seoul.

"Our specialists will visit the South Korean national nanotechnology centre, the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute and the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials," he said.

"I believe that the committee's meeting will give an additional impetus to the development of bilateral relations and provide an opportunity for the two countries' researchers to cooperate without any damage to intellectual property of our country," Kabanov said.
