Ahead of the Bell: General Electric
Abstract:
General Electric Co., which recently announced a 9.6 percent rise in second-quarter profit, hosts an analyst meeting Monday.
"Specific projects and lab tours could include GE's focus on nanotechnology, bioscience, composite materials, and combustion," the analyst wrote. The company might also highlight projects in environmentally friendly areas, such as its plans to develop a zero-emission, hybrid-fuel cell bus.
