OUTLOOK - UK smaller company results for 2 weeks to March 30 (1 o 2)
Abstract:
Oxonica PLC, the international nanomaterials group, recently completed a budget and strategy review. As a result of the group finishing the financial year ended 31 Dec 2006 with a cash balance of 6.8 mln stg - significantly higher than market expectations - it has decided to increase investment to support the strategic relationships established with Petrol Ofisi and Becton Dickinson and the related development of two of its principal products, ENVIROX fuel borne catalyst and NANOPLEX markers for biodiagnostics. This extra investment, comprising about 2.5 mln stg, is intended to accelerate the progress of these two products in future years, although it will be expensed in the current financial year.
