FEI Company (Nasdaq: FEIC) announced today that it has terminated discussions with Carl Zeiss SMT, a unit of Carl Zeiss AG regarding the potential acquisition of FEI by Carl Zeiss SMT. The discussions were initiated by Carl Zeiss.
