ISU projects will share research funding
Abstract:
Nine Iowa State University research projects - ranging from fighting obesity to improving ethanol production - will share nearly $800,000 in a contest designed to turn university know-how into new products, services and jobs. (Including) $106,698 for Byron Brehm-Stecher to develop a sensitive, efficient nanotechnology to detect food-borne pathogens such as salmonella. Bioforce Nanosciences Inc. of Ames is collaborating.
