Rice Names institute in honor of Smalley

Abstract:
Rice University's Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology (CNST) has been renamed the Richard E. Smalley Institute for Nanoscale Science and Technology.

(Ed.'s note: a well-deserved honor. However, when it comes to applying the title of "Father of Nanotechnology" the two names most often mentioned are Dr. Richard Feynman and Dr. K. Eric Drexler.)
