Nano World: Slashing quantum-dot costs
Abstract:
Charles Q. Choi: Nanotech devices known as quantum dots are growing ever more popular in the electronics and biotech industries, but typically cost more than $2,000 per gram, limiting their large-scale use. Now scientists have developed a new method that could cut quantum-dot costs by 80 percent, experts told UPI's Nano World.
