SME's Emerging Technology Forum
Abstract:
David Keenan: The Society of Manufacturing Engineers held a day long Emerging Technology Forum on ‘Molecular Nanotechnology and Manufacturing: The Enabling Tools and Applications’ in Minneapolis, MN on May 4 to provide its members with some foresight about how and when nanotechnology will transform manufacturing.
What follows are a series of summary reports on each of the presentations on nanotechnology viewed from a manufacturing point of view as well as articles on Roadmapping Nanotechnology, Nanotechnology Tools and Instrumentation, Business Models for Nanotechnology, and Challenges.
