Abstract:
Frost & Sullivan's 2005 European Technology Leadership Award in the field of optical fibre technologies goes to Liekki Corporation of Finland. The Award recognises Liekki Corporation's pioneering doped optical fibre manufacturing technology, based on the innovative use of nanoparticle direct deposition of rare earth metals.
