Interstate effort to boost nano in Chesapeake Bay region
Abstract:
Nanotechnology's scientists and engineers have disregarded the borders that separate chemistry, biology, physics and other sciences for decades in order to explore the sweet spots where those disciplines intersect. Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia followed suit on Wednesday with the creation of an interstate initiative to build a regional nanotechnology cluster.
