TN Governor for dissemination, adoption of new technologies

Abstract:
While scientific breakthroughs like nanotechnology, bioinformatics and space applications hold "great promise", their full benefits will not be realised without the dissemination and adoption of such technologies, Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala said here today.

"The new fields of nanotechnology, genomics, bioinformatics and space applications will increase knowledge that can be shared and used to improve sustainable agricultural production and protect ecosystem functions," he said while addressing a seminar on 'Nanobiotechnology: implications on food, health and nutrition security' here.
