"Nanotized" herbal drugs used in anti-cancer experiments
Abstract:
Professor Kuo Guo-hwa of Kaohsiung’s Medical University Graduate School of Biochemistry, has extracted ingredients from Chinese medicinal herbs to create a new drug to fight cancer, according to local media reports. Using nano-technology, the researchers were able to ensure that the herbal medicine compound was able to enter cancer cells without damaging the healthy cells of the human body.
