Biotechnology conferences to showcase region's efforts
Abstract:
The Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse is planning two national conferences here in the next several months that -- along with the biotechnology industry's biggest annual trade event in Philadelphia -- are expected to showcase the region's research strengths and start-ups.
Greenhouse officials were expected today to announce plans for the conferences -- one in March on the marriage of drugs and medical devices and another in April on nanotechnology.
