St. Lucie research park lands first company
Abstract:
St. Lucie County's fledgling research park has nabbed its first recruit, months before construction is even slated to start.
Health Plus International Inc., a Boca Raton-based nanotechnology firm, plans to move its operations to the park west of Fort Pierce.
The 7-year-old company uses nanotechnology to develop ways to deliver nutrients to the body more efficiently. Health Plus has patented a system to compress vitamins into an oral spray that is absorbed more quickly into the bloodstream.
