Competitiveness is NSTDA chief’s priority

Abstract:
Sakarindr Bhumiratana, who takes the helm at the National Science and Technology Development Agency tomorrow, talked yesterday about his vision for science and technology development in the country. His urgent agenda is to build up science and technology (S&T) infrastructure and push for the use of S&T to boost national competitiveness. Four technologies – information and communications technology, biotechnology, material science and nanotechnology – would be the agency’s top priorities.
