Abstract:
Houstonians, like many Texans, are inclined to brag about our bigness. Houston is the home of engineering marvels such as the first domed stadium and the Houston Ship Channel, for example. We are the energy capital of the world now, but Houston's future economic growth might rest less with the large than with the small - a future built on the science of nanotechnology.
