IMEC Opens Nanotech Lab

Abstract:
The Belgian R&D lab has officially opened an $99.8 million (84 million euro) nanoelectronic lab at its Leuven, Belgium, headquarters. The center has a three-level fab structure totalling over 16,000 square meeters, with 3,200 square meters of cleanroom, and office for up to 400 staff members. The cleanroom is suitable for 300mm wafer processing as well, IMEC said.
