European Commission reports on nanotechnology risks

Abstract:
The European Commission has released a report on a workshop on nanotechnology risk analysis held by the Health and Consumer Protection Directorate General in March 2004. The “Mapping out Nano Risks” workshop encouraged a group of 17 experts to “examine the hazards, exposure and risks to human and environmental health potentially associated with materials derived from nanotechnologies within the next three to five years”.
