Kopin CEO Featured Speaker at Blue 2004 Conference in Taiwan
Abstract:
The Kopin CyberLite LED, recently chosen as "Product of the Year" by the editorial staff of Electronic Products Magazine, has achieved high power efficiency, ESD robustness and miniaturization. NanoPockets, formed naturally during the epitaxial growth, confine the generation of light inside nano-scale "pockets" and away from defects to yield higher efficiency. Nearly 50 nanometers wide and 2 to 3 nanometers thick, there are more than 5 million NanoPockets in each LED chip.
