Institute of Physics says “too true” to Too little too late report

Abstract:
The Institute of Physics welcomes the findings of the report published today (2 April) by the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee, ‘Too little too late? Government investment in nanotechnology’. The Institute is pleased that the Committee has taken on board the Institute’s views that more investment is needed if the UK is to stay internationally competitive in the field, and that greater co-ordination is needed between funding from the Research Councils and from the Micro and Nano Technology (MNT) initiative.
