The industry’s court artist chisels ‘tetrapod’ masterpiece to harness sun
Abstract:
Nanotech’s own Michelangelo has an equally polysyllabic name: Alivisatos. Like the Renaissance sculptor, the modern-day chemist is a master of material and shape - except Alivisatos’ materials are semiconductor nanocrystals, not marble or plaster, and his shapes are dots, rods and pyramids.
