NANO IRON, s.r.o. was established in 2008 with the main aim to produce nanoparticles of elementary iron and utilize them in the framework of the domestic and world market, including technical support in the applications. The company disposes of a unique, environmentally friendly and wasteless technology enabling production of Fe(0) nanoparticles at the industrial scale with almost unlimited production capacity. The produced iron nanoparticles are of ultrasmall dimension with a narrow size distribution (20-100 nm), large surface area, extremely high reactivity and excellent migration properties. Due to the sophisticated stabilization process, it is possible to deliver the nanoparticles in the form of long-term stable aqueous dispersions (NANOFER 25S, NANOFER 25) providing a wide application potential, especially in the reduction technologies of ground and underground water treatments. In addition, as a special product, NANO IRON, s.r.o. also offers pure nanopowder of zero-valent iron in the dry state preserved in the inert atmosphere (NANOFER 25N).
