TMC, a unit of AMETEK Ultra Precision Technologies and the world leader in precision floor vibration control, has appointed Murugesh Thimmanna as National Sales Manager, India, with responsibility for managing all aspects of TMC's sales in India.

Mr. Thimmanna will lead the expansion of TMC's sales and service organization in India, working with customers, agents and distributors, as well as identifying and establishing appropriate channels for TMC's products. He reports to Jon Harman, TMC/Precitech Director of Asian Sales and Marketing. Mr. Thimmanna also will continue in his current position of India National Sales Manager for AMETEK Precitech, another unit of AMETEK Ultra Precision Technologies. Mr. Thimmanna can be reached at .

"Murugesh has more than two decades of product management and sales experience in India," states Steve Ryan, Divisional Vice President for TMC. "His extensive knowledge of the region is invaluable to TMC's commitment to further expand our strong presence and customer support throughout Asia."

Prior to joining TMC, Mr. Thimmanna held positions in product and general management, as well as sales. He holds a bachelor's of engineering degree in electronics and communication from Karnataka University, Dharwad. He is based in Bengaluru.

TMC designs and manufactures precision vibration isolation systems for sensitive research and manufacturing processes worldwide. The ISO 9001:2008-certified company's products include active and passive vibration isolation systems; optical tops, optical table systems, and breadboards; laboratory tables and table top platforms; floor platforms; magnetic field cancellation and electric field shielding systems; and acoustic enclosures.
