Abstract:
Liquipel, LLC (http://www.liquipel.com/) today announced the release of the Liquipod Tower™, the newest member of the Liquipod™ product family. The Liquipod Tower is a complete turn-key system that lets retailers and distributors treat devices onsite for consumers using Liquipel 2.0 WaterSafe™ technology. Liquipel 2.0, the company's own proprietary, super-hydrophobic nanocoating formulation and application process, protects mobile devices from accidental exposure to water and other liquids.

Liquipel Announces Turnkey Retail Solution to Create WaterSafe Mobile Electronics in Minutes: Liquipod Tower Brings Award-Winning WaterSafe Technology to Retail, Allowing Consumers to Safeguard Their Phones for Life While They Wait

Barcelona, Spain | Posted on February 25th, 2013

Each Liquipod Tower is a self-contained unit that includes a kiosk cabinet, operator station, Liquipod machine and retail storage space. The Liquipod Tower is ideal for stand-alone kiosk or retail in-store configurations, allowing Liquipel licensees to provide a timely, high-margin, value-added service to their customers. The company anticipates a variety of financing options designed to make the Liquipod Tower a profitable addition to their licensee line of business.

"Last year, we recognized an emerging need for us to make our Liquipel product more directly accessible by consumers. We find the Liquipod Tower and Liquipod to be the perfect solution," said Kevin Bacon, co-founder and chief operating officer. "Through the Liquipod Tower, not only is it easier to bring Liquipel to the consumer, but we also create a unique, high margin opportunity for retailers who want to enter the rapidly expanding water protection industry."

Liquipod Towers are set to be available in consumer retailers in the United States starting in the second quarter of 2013.
