Abstract:
Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council plans to hold the International Iran Nano Forum 2012 concurrently with the Fifth Iran Nano Festival in Tehran Permanent International Fairground on October 6-7, 2012 in a bid to promote commercialization of domestic nano-based products.
Among the objectives of this international forum, mention can be made of creation of interaction between the Iranian and international bodies active in the field of nanotechnology in commercialization, industry and market sections, monitoring the role of governments in the commercialization of nanotechnology and its presentation to the market, devising the solutions for the diffusion of nanotechnology in various industrial branches with an outlook to the present situation and the future's prospect, and studying the paths for the presentation of nanotechnology-based products to the markets of the target countries.
The scopes of the forum are as follows:
- Policymaking of the governments in the field of nanotechnology (Government Policy)
- National plans of the countries in the field of nanotechnology (National Plan)
- Investment potentials (Investments/Funding)
- Standardization of nanotechnology (Nano Standardization)
- Commercialization of nanotechnology (Nano Commercialization)
- Capacities of the existing industries in the country to use nanotechnology (Industrial Opportunities)
- Presentation of the experiences of successful companies in the commercialization, marketing, and creation of the added value in nanotechnology (Success Story)
This forum will gather the international experts in nanotechnology in order to discuss and study the solutions for the commercialization of various applications and new progresses in nanotechnology.
A number of educational workshops related to the scopes of the forum will be held in the forum in order to transfer the knowledge of the best Iranian and international professors in the field of nanotechnology.
