Nanotech 2011 Showcases CNT Applications
Abstract:
The world's largest nanotechnology exhibition and conference, "Nanotech 2011" is being held at the Big Sight exhibition center in Tokyo, Japan. Bayer, which participated in last year's exhibition as part of Germany's booth, has set up its own booth this year where it is displaying a CNT (carbon nanotube) product with three screws and a feather balancing on a pair of scales. Tilo Werner, director of Bayer's CNT division, said, "We are collaborating with automakers worldwide, including Korea, to develop ultra-light alloys, and hope to achieve commercialization within two years."
