Leonardo Biosystems Gets $2.5M From TETF
Abstract:
Houston-based Leonardo Biosystems, a developer of drug delivery technology, has received $2.5M in a funding round from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund. The investment was announced by parent firm Arrowhead Research Corporation today. Leonardo is developing drug delivery products which are aimed at improving the effectiveness of drug therapy. The firm was co-founded by nanotechnology scientist Dr. Mauro Ferrari, who is a professor at the University of Texas.
