£4.5m chemical centre at The University of Reading

Abstract:
A state-of-the-art centre for chemical analysis has opened at The University of Reading.

The £4.5 million chemical analysis facility (CAF) includes nuclear magnetic resonance, thermal analysis, molecular spectroscopy, X-ray and mass spectrometry.

The facility focuses on small molecule research that lies at the core of the majority of studies undertaken within the School of Chemistry, Food and Pharmacy.
