Abstract:
Ecology Coatings, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: ECOC), a leader in the discovery and development of nanotechnology-enabled, ultraviolet-curable advanced coatings, today announced that it has entered into a commercialization agreement with Green Bay, Wisconsin-based WS Packaging Group, Inc., one of the largest printing and label converting operations in North America. Under the terms of the agreement, WS Packaging will purchase Ecology's EcoQuik(TM) coatings for labels and packaging products manufactured by the company.

The label and printed products North American markets, estimated at approximately $20 billion, have ongoing requirements for cost effective coating products that provide improved water and chemical resistance, increased productivity and the ability to address environmental issues, such as lower energy usage and the use of solvent-free materials. Ecology Coatings' EcoQuik(TM) coatings have been developed to meet these market requirements by providing the following benefits:
-- Substantially lower cost alternatives to plastic laminate/glue
overlays
-- Proprietary green products that are fully reclaimable with minimal
disposal costs
