Nanotech to cure diseases by entering patients' DNA
Abstract:
In the coming years, after information technology and bio-technology, nanotechnology is going to be a major player in almost all sectors of human life such as health sciences, construction, energy, food technology, personal care, information technology and others.
While delivering a lecture on `nanotechnology and health application' during the ongoing science expo on Saturday, Alok Dhawan, scientist from Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (IITR) explained the concept of nano where particles have a potential to even enter into DNA and target specific diseases for its cure.
