New plant will create 30 jobs in high-tech field

Abstract:
Renegade Materials Corp. said Monday it will start up production in January at a new plant being built to commercialize nanostructured composite materials for military and aerospace markets.

Leaders of the Dayton area's effort to develop advanced materials manufacturing and production for high-tech markets hailed the arrival of Renegade. The location's proximity to the Miami Valley's research universities, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, defense contractors and other advanced-materials companies made the region a good choice, said Laura Glidden, director of sales and marketing for Renegade Materials.
