UM-St. Louis to open nanoscience research center

Abstract:
The University of Missouri-St. Louis will open its new Nanoscience center this week.

Facility director Dr. Jimmy Liu said scientists will use the new center to research everything from ultra-sensitive optical detectors to potential cancer drugs.

"We [also] have projects related to hydrogen fuel cells and projects related to fundamental understandings of biologics systems," Liu said
