Qimonda, Dresden University launch materials lab

Abstract:
Qimonda and the Dresden Technical University have opened their materials research joint venture. The company named NaMLab gGmbH is the first company organized as private-public partnership joint venture in Germany.

NaMLab stands for Nanoelectronic Materials Laboratory. The joint venture, located at the Dresden Technical University includes a research laboratory and a clean room. With 27 researchers and staff, its task is research and evaluation of nanoelectronic materials for use in future memory chip generations.
