London dreams for Kolkata firms

Abstract:
A growing number of Kolkata-based companies are poised to get enlisted in the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

The high interest of UK investors on Kolkata will be evident from the number of UK delegation visits that have been lined up for the city in the coming months. A delegation from UK's water sector with representatives from companies like Mott Mc Donald and Halcrow will be arriving soon followed by a British nanotechnology delegation. In October, there will be visits by an education mission and a healthcare mission.
