State needs autos and innovation
Abstract:
"Michigan's strategy should focus on the new industrials, by capitalizing on the core competencies and innovation the state was built on," said Stromback, of Bloomfield Hills. His company, Ecology Coatings, aims to replace chrome and other coatings in automotive and medical industry products with a nanotechnology-based coating process. It is headquartered, for now, in Bloomfield Hills with a laboratory in Akron, Ohio.
