Hoping for the worst

Abstract:
The smallest of the Minnesota companies by market capitalization on the list, Eden Prairie-based NVE had the highest percentage of outstanding shares held short at the end of June. NVE develops nanotechnology devices that store and transmit information in products such as hearing aids and pacemakers. Though sales and earnings are up, the stock has a volatile trading history.
